Echoes of Eden

Echoes of Eden proclaims God’s glory through the cultivation of art and media for the enrichment of God's people. We hope to use stories, poems, music, drawings, paintings, and more to draw out peoples' love for God and increase their faith in Him, and our ultimate aim is to please God with our creations.

Some Brief Echoes...

We're just getting started, and we eventually hope to showcase various events, works of art, and stories here. For now however, enjoy two excerpts from a small book of poems and stories that we're working on.

A wanderer happened upon a book lying in the forest. He picked it up to inspect, and saw that it was quite old but in good condition. On opening the cover, it seemed to him that light shone about, the very air felt lighter, and faint notes of music could be heard. Very soon however, the moment and its effects were gone and it seemed but silly imagination. Intrigued, the wanderer sat down and began reading. After quite some time, he got back up with eyes a little more clear, heart a little more joyful, and tongue a little more melodic, than before. Thus he began to wonder on the path now before him…

...As the noises of night go on a new voice becomes clear
The King has arrived and He seems very near
For all the other noises have mingled and shown
There’s a King who is talking who sits on the throne
His words are like honey, sweeter than sweet
And there are no other sounds I would rather meet
In case you didn’t hear, God is the King
That’s what the nighttime will every night sing
That’s what the noises of animals and wind bring
We’re ruled by God, and to Him we must cling
Take heed now to the kingdom of sounds
Listen closely for another Kingdom to be found
One in which people live forever in light all around
And whose mirth and laughter is yet more profound
